integration planning for
Oracle Maintenance
Oracle Maintenance field front-end integration scope
This reference page shows how MapTrack can be scoped as a field asset operations layer around Oracle Fusion Cloud Maintenance, Oracle SCM and Oracle EAM environments. Oracle Maintenance remains the system of record. MapTrack does not currently ship a one-click Oracle Maintenance connector, so every production exchange must be designed and verified with your IT team or implementation partner.
Availability: Scoped integration
Reference architecture, not a prebuilt connector. MapTrack can help scope and deliver a customer-specific integration using its current public master-data API, manual CSV/XLSX import and export, and automation webhooks. ERP work orders, forms, attachments, readings, parts and status updates require separately engineered middleware or ERP APIs.

What you get
Separate shipped MapTrack capability from the custom exchange required to keep the ERP authoritative.
MapTrack asset and form workflows
MapTrack currently provides a mixed-asset register, QR workflows, digital forms, photos, signatures and offline form submission. MapTrack work orders and inventory movements currently require connectivity.
Scan-first asset context
Oracle asset, item, location and maintenance organisation data can be mapped to MapTrack assets and durable QR labels. Known tags can also be read with compatible external scanners. The exact identity and master-data rules belong in the integration contract.
Explicit offline boundary
MapTrack forms, selected asset records, QR tags and files support offline capture and replay. ERP work-order execution, stock movements, reports, maps and the ERP exchange itself are not currently full offline workflows.
Forms that create operational evidence
Pre-starts, inspections, defect reports and service forms can stay attached to the MapTrack asset with timestamps, user attribution, photos, signatures and captured location. Writing that evidence into the ERP requires a custom connector.
Hardware-aware asset layer
Durable QR labels are a current MapTrack strength. Linked GPS positions can add live asset context when connected. BLE and OEM telemetry require a verified, configured deployment and should not be assumed by default.
Proposed ERP exchange
Oracle finance, supply chain, inventory and procurement controls remains governed inside the ERP. A custom project can then map the approved subset of oracle maintenance work orders, operation transactions and service history, evidence and status changes that should move between systems.
How it works
Confirm ownership
Decide which system owns assets, locations, users, work orders, forms, readings, parts, attachments and statuses before selecting a transport.
Prove the field workflow
Pilot the MapTrack asset, QR and form workflow with a small cohort. Record the exact online, offline, approval and evidence requirements.
Build and verify exchange
MapTrack can work with your IT team or integration partner to build the approved API, middleware or file exchange for the selected objects. Test duplicates, retries, rejected updates, conflicts, replay and audit evidence before release.
Frequently asked questions
Does MapTrack replace Oracle Maintenance?
No. Oracle Maintenance remains the system of record for the agreed enterprise process. MapTrack can provide a simpler asset, QR and forms layer for selected field workflows, with any ERP exchange scoped separately.
What Oracle Maintenance data can MapTrack work with?
MapTrack currently exposes public API resources for assets, categories, custom fields, locations, people and account users. Work orders, form submissions, attachments, readings, inventory usage, maintenance and status events require custom integration work. Final scope depends on your ERP configuration, API access and approval rules.
What integration tools are available today?
MapTrack can help scope and deliver a customer-specific integration using its documented public master-data API, manual CSV/XLSX import and export, and outbound automation webhooks. A broader execution API, signed enterprise webhook layer and MCP server are not currently shipped public capabilities and must not be assumed in the project scope.
Is this a prebuilt one-click connector?
No. MapTrack does not currently ship a prebuilt one-click Oracle Maintenance connector. This page documents a scoped integration pattern so operations and IT can evaluate the workflow without mistaking the reference architecture for a live connector.
Can MapTrack support QR codes, GPS and BLE alongside ERP work orders?
MapTrack currently supports durable QR workflows and linked GPS context when connected. Compatible keyboard-wedge scanners can read known tags. BLE proximity, OEM telemetry and ERP work-order exchange require a verified deployment and integration scope.
Who usually owns the integration project?
Operations, maintenance and IT usually co-own it. Operations defines the field workflow, maintenance defines work order and asset rules, and IT or an integration partner controls ERP credentials, middleware, security and production release.
